Arrival
Most students arrive on Sundays before courses start and depart on Saturdays after the last day of course. All course participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements unless special arrangements have been made.
Traveling to Heidelberg
Heidelberg is easily accessible:
- by train to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
- by plane to: Frankfurt Airport; Frankfurt Hahn; Baden Airpark: Karlsruhe - Baden-Baden, or Stuttgart Airport. From there by train or bus to Heidelberg
- by car, Autobahn A5 (highway), exit Heidelberg, parking possibilities near the school: Parking garage P5 near Hotel Europäischer Hof. Click here for directions.
Public transport in Heidelberg
Heidelberg has a good network of public transport with buses, trams and bicycle lanes. The Old City with Germany's longest pedestrian zone is near the school within walking distance.
Departure
In general students depart the day after their courses are completet. Please let us know in case you need any special arrangements or support from our side.
